Sick Child:

At Jamberry Days, we prioritize the health and safety of all our participants. If your child is feeling unwell, we kindly ask that they refrain from attending the session to prevent the spread of illness and ensure a positive, creative experience for everyone. Please review our guidelines below.

Note: For emergencies, 911 will be called, and an incident report will be provided to the child’s parent/guardian.

Guidelines:

  1. Health Precaution: If your child has a fever, contagious illness (such as a cold, flu, or stomach virus), or is showing symptoms like excessive coughing, sneezing, fatigue, vomiting, or diarrhea, please keep them at home. We would recommend that you seek medical advice if necessary. If such symptoms or illness are discovered while the child is present at a studio, Jamberry Days will notify the child's parents or guardians as soon as possible. We will allow the child to rest until a caregiver or guardian comes to pick them up.

  2. Notify Us: If your child is unable to attend a booked session due to illness, please notify us as soon as possible so we can make any necessary adjustments.

  3. Return to Program: Children may return to Jamberry Days once they are symptom-free for 24 hours and can fully participate in the activities.

  4. If the student requires epipen protocol, please alert us before class or session.

Thank you for helping us maintain a healthy and creative space for all children at Jamberry Days.

Dress Code:

Children should dress appropriately for the activities scheduled.  Be prepared to GET MESSY.

Personal Belongings:

Please put the child’s name on all articles of clothing, water bottle, bags, etc. Children should not bring toys, mobile phones, electronic devices, jewelry, money, or any other valuable possessions to any of the programs. Children will be responsible for their belongings.

Weather

In the event of inclement weather, Jamberry Days will use its best judgment to decide whether to cancel or reschedule. If weather conditions such as Tornado threats occur, the class will relocate to the tornado shelter in the basement of the Elm House. Children will not be released until the threat has cleared. Parents are welcome to wait with us.
